DUO history and production
DUO has been operating since 1995, making lures for saltwater fishing, trout fishing and freshwater predators. Overseas distributors present DUO as a maker whose lures are 100% made in Japan.
One of DUO's best-known lure designers is Masahiro Adachi. In an interview he said that developing a new lure sometimes takes more than three years, and that a lure does not go into production until it fully achieves its purpose.
The Realis series
Realis is DUO's lure line for freshwater predators: hard baits, swimbaits and soft baits. jig.lt offers five Realis models: the floating DUO Realis Dead Drift 100 swimbait for pike in rivers, the Realis Jerkbait SP PIKE jerkbait for pike (100 and 120 mm), the Realis Spin tail spinner for asp, perch and zander, the soft Realis Versa Shad for zander, perch and pike, and the soft Realis Wriggle Crawler, sold in packs of 24.
DUO also works with other Japanese makers; for example, together with D-3 Custom Lures it created the SHIN FUKUZEMI lure.
