DECOY Worm25 KG Hook Wide

The DECOY Worm25 KG Hook Wide is an offset hook from the Japanese maker Katsuichi (DECOY). It keeps the shape and hooking performance of the popular DECOY KG Hook (Worm17), but has an extra-wide gap between the point and the shank, so it hooks reliably even with wide, bulky soft plastics such as swimbaits and shads.

The maker stresses that a big hook doesn't have to be heavy wire: the wire thickness is chosen so the hook sets surely, and the bend length suits thick soft baits. The hook works not only with big baits but with many other soft plastics too. Its centre of gravity is lower, so the lure moves steadily even when fished without a weight.
