VARIVAS Max Power PE X8 Lime Green 150 m

VARIVAS Max Power PE X8 Lime Green is a versatile braided line from the Japanese maker VARIVAS, built on the well-proven Max Power PE series. It is braided from eight VARIVAS Max Power strands, so it is very strong and as thin as possible.

The special SP-V coating makes the line exceptionally smooth and durable, so it casts far and keeps its qualities longer. The line suits both fresh and salt water, and the bright lime green colour is easy to see in any conditions, which makes it easier to follow bites.

Sizes (150 m spool; strength from VARIVAS, diameter approximate from the standard Japanese PE size chart):

• #0.6: about 0.128 mm, up to 6.6 kg (14.5 lb)
• #0.8: about 0.148 mm, up to 7.6 kg (16.7 lb)
• #1: about 0.165 mm, up to 9.2 kg (20.2 lb)
• #1.2: about 0.185 mm, up to 10.9 kg (24.1 lb)
• #1.5: about 0.205 mm, up to 13 kg (28.6 lb)
• #2: about 0.235 mm, up to 15 kg (33 lb)

What it is for

• For perch and trout: #0.6–#0.8.
• For zander and asp: #0.8–#1.2.
• For pike: #1.2–#2; always use a wire leader.
• Leader: tie a 0.5–1.5 m fluorocarbon leader to the braid, for example VARIVAS Shock Leader Fluorocarbon.
